How can you help Rural Assistance Nepal?

If you are interested in more information about how to volunteering in Nepal, please contact Marianne at mheredge [at] gmail [dot] com. Please download and complete a volunteer form and send this to Marianne.

A little goes a long way in Nepal. RAN is a small charity and there are no overheads. One of the trustees is based in Nepal and ensures that all of your money is going to the where you want it.

If you would like to make a donation to Rural Assistance Nepal, there are a number of ways that you can do this.

By cheque (UK payments) made out to Rural Assistance Nepal, send to:
Mr George Hall
25 Hever Gardens
Kent BR1 2HU

For payments from outside the UK, please contact Marianne at mheredge [at] gmail [dot] com org for details.

What your money can do:
Primary school teacher (monthly salary) about £100
Lower secondary school teacher (monthly salary) about £120
Up to Class 10 (graduate) teacher (monthly salary) about £140
Auxiliary Nurse/Midwife about £120

Ways to make your contributions go further

EVERYCLICK - By using Everyclick as your search engine, you can earn RAN a few pennies every time you search. Visit and register, nominating Rural Assistance Nepal as the charity you want to raise money for. You can also make online donations using Everyclick.

GIVE AS YOU LIVE is another way to donate to Rural Assistance Nepal. By registering and nominating RAN as the charity you want to benefit, whenever you purchase anything online from one of many retailers involved in the scheme - from British Gas to John Lewis (the list is very long), they will pay a certain amount to RAN.

Virgin Money Giving enables online donations to RAN

Gift Aid - For UK donors, the Inland Revenue makes your donation worth even more when you send the Gift Aid form to RAN, donating the tax element of your donation to the charity. Gift Aid is worth nearly £1 billion a year to charities and their donors.
